JB&A have recently undertaken a new project in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office & Enterprise Ireland to construct a new online Digital School of Food for pre-start-up to mid-sized food producers and entrepreneurs.
JB&A have conducted presentations at the college for students developing their knowledge of selling into retail and wholesale and insights into brand strategy.
JB&A have recently conducted workshops for the Innovation Academy containing consumer insights, latest trends and understanding critical elements in the industry.
During 2016 and throughout 2017 the James Burke & Associates team ran Food Academy programmes throughout the country. The Food Academy programme consists of workshops and mentoring for new food businesses with a live trial in Supervalu shops for participants who pitch successfully. JB&A recently undertook the development of the Boyne Valley Food Strategy 2016-2021 after being commissioned by Meath County Council. The five year strategy was presented after the success of the regions Food Destination Award 2016
Limerick City and County Council via the Local Enterprise Office commissioned JB&A to create a Limerick Food Strategy 2016-2018, facilitating the strategy formation, conducting the required research and create a three year strategic plan.
In February 2012, following an internal review of the Food Coast initiative, Donegal Enterprise Board commissioned James Burke and Associates to conduct a review of food activities within the county and to develop a strategy for food.
